Salmon is one of the most festive fish around for Christmas and need very little else to be delicious as we say in cooking “Less is more “so!
Let’s get cooking!
For 4-6 people
- Prep Time : 20 minutes
- Cook Time : 45 minutes
1/ In your oven dish place your whole salmon and stuff it with the dill pouring the white wine in the bottom of your dish
2/ Place in your oven and cook it in your oven for a minimum of 30mn gas mark 6(1800 c) depending on the size of your salmon. Once cooked cover with tin foil and let it rest for 10-15mn
FOR THE SAUCE
3/ While the salmon is resting melt the butter in a pot and place the yolk of the egg in your food processor. Once the butter has melted ( make sure not to boil the butter, otherwise let it cool down before the next step) do not pour in the melted butter in the food processor but in drizzle making the mix thickening nearly like runny mayonnaise then at the end add the splash of white wine and season to taste with the salt and pepper. Add the fresh dill chopped and serve with the salmon it is to die for.
