Le Croque Monsieur

This recipe is the humble ham and cheese with a "je ne sais quoi". Try it and see for yourself how yummy it is!

- Cook Time : 15-20 minutes
Ingredients
- Cooked Ham - 1 slice
- conté /gruyére cheese - 50gr
- Gf bread - 2 slices
- Nutmeg - 1 pinch
- Fresh cream - 30ml
- Black pepper - to taste
Instructions
1/ In a bowl grate the cheese, add the nutmeg, black pepper and the fresh cream and stir together (you want the cheese to be wet and the mix runny).
2/ Put one slice of bread on the oven tray, covering it with the ham and one tblsp of the mix , then place the second slice of bread on top, spreading the rest of the mixture on it(make sure to cover evenly corners included).
3/ Place the oven tray in the top part of your oven and cook it gas mark 7(21OO) for 15-20mn until the top becomes golden brown
Serve with a salad it is a full meal.
