1/ In a pan brown the meat ( no need to add oil) put aside.
2/ Now in with the cumin and coriander seeds (still at high heat) stir for a minute, add the onions, pepper, garlic, ginger chopped the carrots (sliced), celeriac (chopped in small cubes) and the spices: cumin powder, curry powder, turmeric, stir for another 5 minutes, reduce the heat and add the tinned tomatoes.
3/ Place your dish in the oven gas mark 5( 150.0)for 1 hour, then reduce to gas mark 4 (1200) for another hour.
